Vision Boards Catapult Dreams Into Reality

I have been creating vision boards the past few years, typically around New Year's Day. Vision boards can help you see your dream before you make it into a reality.

Something on this particular vision board that I have been inspired by is the studio in the upper lefthand corner. Since then, I have been creating my own studio where I can make a mess and freely express my creativity.

There's a phrase on the board that says, "Starting and Not Finishing." I want to be more intentional with my time and break tasks down into little pieces. Starting a timer is really helpful for me.

A vision board is accepting. It is not a punishing sort of activity, like a New Year's Resolution. You can't fail a vision board. It 's a worth while, collective motivator and inspirational collage of possibilities. It's fun to create, like a story that needs to be told. Dreams aren't made to be broken, they are meant to unfold, and I've come to realize that the vision board helps me hold onto my desires and unfold my goals.

I would love to hear if you have done a vision board or if you want to start one!

Update! Last Friday, at Mountain Lakes Library, I started prep for The Women Who Blog vision board.

I showed up at the ML library and was able to prepare for our next meeting, which will be December 9th, where we'll officially start the division of the group ahead of the new year!
